A top LEGO executive has said that the Star Wars-themed adventure games and LEGO Star War: Battlefields game will be released exclusively in India.
In a statement, Rahul Bajaj, head of LEGO India, said the games and games-related titles would be available in a “limited number of stores” and would be priced accordingly.
Bajj said that Star Wars Star Wars 2, Battlefront, LEGO StarWars 2, and Star Wars 3 would be “available in limited numbers of stores in the coming weeks”.
Bajjs comments follow a report by ET TV that the upcoming Star Wars movies, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek Into Darkness will be available for streaming across the country on Apple TV, Roku, Apple TV Stick, Apple iPad and Google Chromecast.
Baskets for the Star Trek films are available in India as well, with a series of pre-release trailers available online.
Earlier this month, Bajs statement said the titles would come to the country from May.
Biosentertainment, which owns the rights to the Star wars franchise, is also in the process of securing distribution deals in the UK and Australia.
Star Wars fans are known to love to spend their days gaming, and the release of the games in India is an interesting addition to the series.
